A most unique piece cast in nine sections of pure real bronze. Every inch is filled with highly detailed scenes from 16 century slave trade and mythology. A relaxed satyr with two ominous tentacles entwining his arms, from eerie handle. The ornamental bronze urn was cast using the ancient method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for conservation. It is signed A. Moreau.
