This sculpture is of a Virgo Lady. Virgo’s are giving, loving and represent the innocent virgin. They are keen and idealistic and don’t easily get the wool pulled over their eyes. Here she sits upon a structure that’s adorned with flowers, leaves and a woman’s face. Her hair flows long to the top of her thighs, yet she runs her hand through it and lifts it up, letting the wind breeze beneath it. One foot resting on her seat and the other is pointed of in front of her. She holds a bouquet of wheat and flowers in her hand that symbolizes wisdom, garnered in the fields of experience. She waits patiently for her true love; she will wait a lifetime for him to come if she has to. Her face is calm but longing for something as she gazes out over her surroundings. Sculpture is handmade and 100% solid pure bronze, cast using the ancient “Lost Wax Method”. Signed L. Icart.
