A serene and stunning piece. A young maiden perches on the shoulders of a bald eagle. She balances gracefully on its wings and seems to be the one in control. The eagle is at her mercy not the other way around. Her face shows not an ounce of fear but rather tranquility and control. The eagle soars high over the clouds, with his maiden on his trusted wing. His wings flare out to the sides, cradling her. This sculpture was carefully detailed from the creases in her flowing dress to the individual feathers of the eagle`s wing span.100% bronze and fully handmade, this brown patina sculpture was cast using the "Lost Wax Method" and mounted on a marble base and is signed E. Picault.
