The man recalled from the era of ancient Classicism can be imagined lost in thought, lost in between the columns of a crumbling temple overgrown with crawling vines, that will eventually cover the stones like a blanket. Walking the rows of columns, the sunlight`s rays stream on the path creating gold translucent angles. As he stares out into the court, a heavy musing, stands him still, as the wings of birds flutter into open skies. The exquisite detail in the sculpture allows for a certain vitality to spring into the imagination of the lost worlds of antiquity. The handmade bronze sculpture was cast using the archaic methods of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for perpetuation. He is mounted upon a black marble base.
